The weight capacity of the bracket is in direct proportion to its mounting. The individual bracket can easily support 150 lbs. However, it must be mounted to a wood support member that can support at least the same weight. Intended for use as a counter top support bracket for counter tops supported by an adequate number of uniformly spaced brackets.
How to pick the correct size:
Stay back 2-4 inches from the edge of the overhang, and add the width of the support wall you're attaching the bracket to.
Installation Guide
1. Measure and mark the appropriate mounting locations on your wall.
2. Remove sheet rock in the area of the stud where the bracket will be mounted.
3. Securely mount the bracket to the stud and ensure that the top of the bracket is level with the granite placement. If you find that your stud wall is not square be sure to shim the bracket. Drilling pilot holes in advance will help ensure the wood doesn't split.
4. Use a quick patch kit to cover the bracket.
5. Prior to setting the top in place, run a bead of high quality silicone adhesive down the center of each bracket.
