When you first start shooting, you might be used to flimsy paper targets that need to be replaced every few rounds. When you use steel targets, however, you can use the same ones for years on end with proper maintenance.

1.What is a steel shooting target?
Much like AR450 and AR400, AR500 steel is a specific type of abrasion resistant steel. This has a surface hardness of 477-534 BHN. It is a high-carbon steel alloy that provides greater impact and sliding abrasion resistance by comparison.
Unlike traditional paper targets, our AR500 steel shooting targets ring out with a satisfying *Clank* every time your bullet hits its mark. For an even more tactile response, paint your targets and see the precise point of impact for each shot.

3.What are the advantages of steel shooting target?
1. AR500 steel is a special high carbon steel hardened to withstand repeated shots, bullets simply bounce off or vaporize upon impact. Targets will last forever with proper use.
2. Targets come with two 1/2" mounting holes (with thick ears to take hits without breaking) and are ready to hang and shoot as soon as you receive them. Hang from both holes for more stability but you can hang from a single hole.
